History

Originally founded in Brooklyn, New York in 1955, Jacques Caterers has grown to become the complete caterer for all your cooking needs. The catering age evolved from wedding receptions of cold cut platters to catered reception dinners with hot entrees. Jacques is one of the original pioneers responsible for bringing fresh quality foods into your home, thus coining the term "off-premise catering". Whether it's for a traditional family gathering or an elaborate seven-course sit-down dinner with china, wait-staff, and the utmost in style and elegance, Jacques has evolved to bring you the BEST!!

After growing up enjoying the smell of fresh home cooking, and with years of work experience from our original Brooklyn office, I decided to bring Jacques to the Garden State. Since our first office opened in 1981, Jacques Caterers of New Jersey has expanded to its current office space in Hazlet to provide our excellent cuisine to your home, office or at any location you choose. In addition, Jacques Reception Center in Middletown is now open for business! Our full service on-premise Banquet facility for weddings, bar-mitzvahs, or any other occasion will follow the same traditions, service and quality you have come to expect from our company.

This new facility has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation project, boosting cascading fountains, imported Italian chandeliers, and an expansive lobby with beautiful granite floors. Our newly renovated reception center will take your breath away We can accommodate you're every need, from intimate dinners of 50 people up to gala receptions of 450. Jacques Caterers serves the New York metropolitan tri-state area with facilities in Brooklyn and Staten Island NY, as well as in Hazlet and Middletown NJ. Jacques Caterers will endeavor to provide our customers with the highest level of quality and service to which you have grown accustomed.

My sons now continue the tradition of providing the same authentic Italian cuisine you remember as a child, as well as a varied assortment of Continental dishes. Jacques now offers over 70 specialty items as well as Holiday Dinners, outdoor BBQs and the ultimate in on or off-premise wedding receptions.
